Head of Egyptian Banking Institute's (EBI) Development Sector Khaled Basiouni announced Sunday that EBI completed the drafting of the National Strategy for Financial Education, Al-Bawaba News reported. He explained that the new strategy aims to spread and increase financial awareness among marginalized sectors in order to raise their living standards and increase the proportion of financial inclusion through official financial channels. "The strategy aims to form an educating curriculum for financial education appropriate for different ages from variable social sectors," Basiouni revealed, pointing out that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) along with 17 state entities have participated in drafting the strategy.
