Prosecution releases cartoonist Islam Gawish

Nasr City prosecution ordered Monday the release of cartoonist Islam Gawish after being arrested on Sunday allegedly for launching an unlicensed website, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The prosecution head, Mohamed Hatta said that Gawish does not belong to any terrorist group or the now outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.
Mr. Gawish was detained for 24 hours upon national security investigations accusing him of owning an unlicensed website used to spread "news on the Egyptian affairs".
