Security forces arrested workshop owners suspected of illegally manufacturing weapons and storing cell phones reportedly used for remote detonation in terrorist attacks, Al Bawaba News reported Wednesday. The Giza police department arrested Tuesday a workshop owner accused of the illegal manufacturing of weapons and of allegedly selling them to militants to be used in terror attacks. Security agencies in Cairo arrested members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist organization and the Hazemoon movement, linked to detained Salafi leader Hazem Salah Abu Ismail. The suspects stored Sim cards registered under the names of deceased citizens and reportedly used for remote detonation in terror attacks. The defendants were referred to the prosecution for investigation.
