CBE keeps interest rates on EGP in deposit, lending

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided on Thursday evening to keep the interest rates on the Egyptian pound in deposit and lending in the Egyptian market, Al-Bawaba News reported.
According to CBE, the overnight deposit rate is kept at 8.75%, overnight lending rate kept at 9.75%, while the rate of CBE's main operation and the discount rate remain at 9.25%.
