5 police personnel killed in terrorist attack in Arish

Five police personnel were killed and three others wounded in a terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in North Sinai's Al-Arish city, Al Bawaba News reported.
Security sources said that the wounded police personnel were immediately transferred to Al-Arish Hospital for treatment.
Since September 2013, Egyptian army and police have been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks against the military and police personnel.
