There is no information about Bulgarian citizens injured in the blast that rattled Istanbul on Tuesday yet. Spokesperson of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Betina Zhoteva announced the information speaking for Radio FOCUS. "The Bulgarian consul went to the scene right after the incident took place and filed a request to the Turkish authorities asking for immediate information but there is no feedback yet. This is due to the fact that the rescue operations at the scene are still underway. The area is closed off. There are many medical and police teams, the access for the media to the scene of the explosion is restricted," Ms Zhoteva said further. She explained that according to the official information released from Istanbul Mayor's Office was that 10 people were killed, while 15 were injured in the blast. Commenting on the other incident in Istanbul - the fire at a hotel in the Asian part of the city, Ms Zhoteva said that there was no information either.
