Egypt and Russia signed a new memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral ties in the field of railway industries, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. The new deal, attended by Egyptian ministers of transportation and foreign cooperation, includes manufacturing 700 air-conditioned railway vehicles for Egypt's Railways Authority. The new deal came through state's keenness to expand the role of local manufacturing using Egyptian products, renovate the railway fleet and to benefit from Russia's expertise in the field.
