Egyptian pound softens slightly against dollar in early Sunday trading

The Egyptian pound edged lower against the US dollar in early trading on Sunday, according to official bank data, though it remains within a relatively narrow range after weeks of stability.
As of 11:43 a.m. Cairo time (09:43 GMT), major banks quoted the pound as follows:
