Landmine explosion kills woman, her child in south of Sheikh Zuwaid

A Bedouin woman and her child were killed in south of Sheikh Zuwaid city, after a landmine exploded, medical and security sources in northern Sinai governorate told Al-Bawaba News Sunday.
The sources who spoke to Al-Bawaba on condition of anonymity, said that the landmine was initially planted as an ambush for armed forces.
The body of dead mother, Aisha Eid Suleiman Salem, 45-year-old, and her 13 years old child, Mayada, were transported to Sheikh Zuwaid general hospital's morgue, the sources added.
