Terrorists fired a mortar shell on a house in south of Rafah, killing one person and wounding four others, said a military source on Tuesday. The source, who spoke to Al Bawaba on condition of anonymity, said that all of the victims were civilians and the mortar shell was initially targeting an army checkpoint in the surrounding area of the house, but fell accidentally down on the house instead. A father of two, Abued Alla Zayed Salem, 53-years-old, was killed as a result of mortar shell hitting his house, while the rest of his family was injured, including his wife and his two sons, Omar, eight-years-old, and Khaled, also eight-years-old. The wounded were rushed into Al Arish general hospital to receive medical treatment.
