National Council for Women (NCW) has stepped up its activities to increase women's participation in voting for their preferred candidate during parliamentary elections' second phase, Al Bawaba News reported Friday. The NCW has revealed its intentions to launch a number of campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of women's participation in the success of the second phase of the elections, in all its branches across the country. Secretary General of NCW, Ambassador Mervat Al Tallawy said that the NCW has established a website which includes detailed information on all candidates, electoral campaigns and programs, as well as the High Elections Committee's (HEC) latest news and decision. Al Tallawy pointed out that the NCW has also a political office, which cares to provide all female candidates with detailed data about the general Egyptian affairs.
