"Achieving security and stability is one of the Middle East main objectives," Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said Tuesday before the Arab-Latin American Summit in Riyadh. Al-Sisi asserted in his speech that Egypt realized that counter terrorism needs comprehensive cooperation, adding that Egypt launched the so-called "Hope and Action for New Destination" initiative or (HAND) to counter extremism across the world. The president noted that the Arab region is witnessing unprecedented political challenges that threaten the region's institutions, adding that some countries in the region are facing the "threat of division". Al-Sisi urged the Latin American countries to support the Arabs, stressing on the need to end the Israeli occupation and declare the Palestinian state on the basis of the two-state solution, to maintain Middle East stability. He added that Egypt is keen to communicate with the Latin American countries to pump their investments in the country.
