Bahrain's ambassador to Cairo, Rashid Bin Abdel Rahman Al Khalifa said Tuesday that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's visit to his country aims to strengthen relations, Al Bawaba News reported. Al Khalifa expressed, in a press release, optimism regarding the results that will emerge from Sisi's visit in terms of strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields and open new horizons for bilateral cooperation. He added that his country pays great attention to creating ways to promote and develop cooperation with Egypt. He pointed out to his country's pride of Egypt's position towards Bahrain and the security of the Gulf region, as well as its leading role in serving the Arab and Islamic nation, in addition to defending the just causes. Furthermore, he congratulated Egypt on conducting the first phase of the parliamentary elections in a climate marked by integrity and transparency as a step in the march towards stability and prosperity.
