Egyptian army launched Monday the second phase of the phase of Martyr's Right operation against terrorist groups in North Sinai's Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid cities, Al Bawaba News reported. The army's warplanes attacked Wilayat Sinai terrorist group hideouts in North Sinai, destroying all terrorist outposts in Sheikh Zuweid's Toma village as well as seizing weapons, explosive devices and communication devices. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel. On September 22, Egypt's armed forces announced the end of the first phase of Martyr's Right operation that was launched on September 7 after achieving its main objectives.
