Egyptian army and police killed Monday 11 militants and arrested 51 in North Sinai during the 8th day of Martyr's Right operation launched last week against terrorist groups, Al Bawaba News reported. The army also destroyed eight vehicles, 26 motorcycles, 55 terrorists' hideouts, as well as defusing 63 improvised explosive devices planted by terrorists on North Sinai's Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid cities. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
