Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has strongly condemned the twin suicide attacks in a railway station in the Turkish capital, Ankara, yesterday which left nearly one hundred people killed and hundreds more wounded. Dr. Al Zayani said that this cowardly act of terrorism against innocent civilians is contrary to all human and moral values and principles. He expressed his confidence in the ability of the authorities to make a swift arrest of the terrorists involved, and bring them to justice. He offered his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Turkish Government, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
