Adviser to al-Azhar Grand Imam, Mohammed Muhanna said the renewal of religious discourse is by setting a good example and the conversion of religion to treatment, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. Religion is not just words to be renovated; it must be translated into behavior and actions, he said. Meanwhile, Minister of Awqaf, Mohammad Mukhtar Juma said that the terrorist groups such as ISIS, Bait Al-Makdes and others have destroyed the image of the Islamic Jihad in front of the whole world. "There is a difference between martyr who die to defend the homeland and those who fight for private interests," he added in a Friday sermon in Al-Hussein Mosque. Juma also called the United Nations, the Security Council, and all the international human rights organizations, to stand in the face of Israeli aggression against holy places in Jerusalem.
