Cultural evenings at Gezira Art Center

The Fine Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Hamdi Aboul Ma'ati organizes two cultural evenings starting Tuesday, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The management of cultural activity at the Gezira Art Center will host a seminar titled "Suez canal in its new dress" where Professor of Modern History Asim el-Desouki discusses the new Suez Canal and its financial and strategic importance for Egypt, as well as screening a film about the Canal's history.
The same evening marks the forty-fifth anniversary of the late Gamal Abdel Nasser, celebrated through a cultural evening at Abnoudi's Museum and Center.
