Government's resignation raises value of US dollar

Government's resignation has led value of US dollar to rise by EGP 20 piasters on the black markets, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday.
The US dollar exchange rate has risen against the Egyptian pound on the black market to reach EGP 8.18, after the resignation of Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab's government.
A number of exchange companies announced the presence of a big demand for the US dollar on the parallel market, for fear of further increase in the value of the dollar.
