Giza Criminal Court considers Sunday the trial of the former minister of agriculture, Yousef Waly and others over corruption charges, Al-Bawaba news reported Sunday. Waly is accused of selling Al-Bayadeya island natural reserve in Luxor, 36 acres to fugitive businessman Hussein Salem in low price, which wasted EGP700 million of the public money. Waly used to be the minister of agriculture in Mubarak's era, who was allegedly responsible for spreading the carcinogenic pesticides in Egypt.
