Cairo court considers custody renewal of 275 MBs

Cairo Criminal Court considers Monday, the custody renewal of 275 members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) on pending investigation, in the case of Rabaa sit-in dispersal, Al-Bawaba news reported.
The defendants are charged with joining an outlawed organization, assaulting citizens, committing violent acts, and murdering police officers.
The Muslim Brotherhood staged a two-month sit-in in Rabaa and Nahda squares before and after the ousting of former president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. Government dispersed the two sit-ins in August 2013.
