Cairo Criminal Court considers Monday, the custody renewal of 275 members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) on pending investigation, in the case of Rabaa sit-in dispersal, Al-Bawaba news reported. The defendants are charged with joining an outlawed organization, assaulting citizens, committing violent acts, and murdering police officers. The Muslim Brotherhood staged a two-month sit-in in Rabaa and Nahda squares before and after the ousting of former president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. Government dispersed the two sit-ins in August 2013.
