Cairo Criminal Court will try Sunday 494 members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist organization who took part in the assault on Al Fath Mosque in Cairo, August 2013, Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants are accused of assaulting police forces and damaging public property. In August 2013, after the dispersal of the Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins, MB members stormed Al Fath Mosque in Cairo's Ramsis district. The police besieged the mosque for several hours before getting them out during clashes that left 210 people dead.
