Giza Criminal Court started Thursday the trial of 73 pro-Muslim Brotherhood persons, over the burning a church at Kerdasa village, according to Al Bawaba News. Defendants of the terrorist organization are accused of burning the churh of Kerdasa on August 2013, coinciding with the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins. Prosecution demanded maximum punishment for defendants, accusing them of joining a terrorist organization, possessing weapons, attempting murder, resisting authorities and burning down a worship house. After the dispersal of MB sit-ins in August 2013, some protesters affiliated with the terrorist organization caused chaos in the Kerdasa, a suburb in Giza governorate, that resulted in killings of several police officers and heavily terrorizing citizens.
