Osama bin Laden's son, Hamza, has called for attacks on the West in a message released by al-Qaeda, The Telegraph reported on Friday. In the audio message that was shared on Twitter, a man al-Qaeda claim is Hamza calls for attacks against America and its allies, specifically mentioning London, Washington, Paris and Tel Aviv as targets. The message is believed to be the first message from Hamza bin Laden, who is thought to be 23 or 24 years old. According to the report this is not the first indication that Hamza bin Laden, who is reportedly bin Laden's youngest son, had joined al-Qaeda's ranks. Hamza is believed to have taken part in attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan 2005. Letters found in Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad compound also suggested that he was being grooming to be bin Laden's successor. It is unknown where Hamza was at the time when the U.S. raided bin Laden's compound in 2011, however it was reported that he was at the compound but was able to escape. His current whereabouts are currently unknown. Since bin Laden's death in 2011, al-Qaeda has been led by Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was considered bin Laden's right hand man.
