Egyptian authorities provided U.S officials with documents containing clear evidences to prove the Muslim Brotherhood (MB)'s involvement in a number of terrorist operations, Al Bawaba News reported on Tuesday. The documents included evidences that the banned group provides support to the terrorist groups in Sinai in return for executing attacks targeting the security and military forces. The reports also revealed the MB involvement in the assassination of Egypt's Attorney General Hisham Barakat in June in cooperation with a number of extremists. Egypt's security authorities also offered clear reports to the U.S Secretary of State John Kerry over the role performed by the MB leaders in Qatar and Turkey to support the terrorist group to destabilize the country.
