Cairo criminal court resumed Saturday the espionage case of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 10 co-defendants, Al Bawaba News reported. Police imposed strict security measures around the court and inside the courtroom , in anticipation of potential violence from the supporters of former president. For the second time, the country witness terror attack at the same day of Morsi's trial, since the assassination of Attorney General Hisham Barakat took place during Morsi's past trial session, and today a blast exploded at the Italian Consulate in Cairo. The defendants face charges of leaking secret documents and reports on the Egyptian army to Qatar through the Qatari TV channel, Al Jazeera.
