Egypt military launches campaign over terror hotbeds in Sinai

Egypt's security forces launched Tuesday a wider campaign against terrorist hotbeds in Al Arish and Sheikh Zuwaid, North Sinai, sources told Yum 7 News.
Eyewitnesses said the military operations closed the Al ArishSheikh Zuwaid ring road.
Egypt's military spokesperson, Mohamed Samir said the outcomes of the crackdown will be announced later.
Since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi, July 2013, the Egyptian military has carried out a crackdown against insurgents in the Sinai Peninsula who claimed a string of deadly blasts, mostly against military facilities.
