The Islamic State (IS) terrorist group executed Tuesday an Iraqi journalist working for a local newspaper based in Iraq's northern Ninawa province, Al-Bawaba News reported. "ISIS executed a journalist who had worked for the Ninawa newspaper in Mosul," the Iraqi Observatory for Press Freedom said, identifying the victim as Soha Rady. Rady was arrested a few days ago at her home and she was executed at a military base in southern Mosul. Rady was sent to death by an IS court for publishing anti-IS news. Other details of the case were not immediately known. The observatory condemned the killing of the Iraqi journalist, urging the international community to face the violence conducted by the terrorist group against journalists in the region.
