President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received on Monday the American-Jewish Committee members, headed by Stanley Bergman, at the presidential headquarter in Heliopolis, State media reported. Al-Sisi said that Egypt faces big terror threats in North Sinai, warning from the consequences of the militant extremism on the region. The president stressed that the circle of violence and terrorism exceeds the Middle East, to other countries in Africa, indicating that Islamic terrorists take religion as a cover. Al-Sisi urged the international community to boost its efforts to defeat and eliminate the threat of terrorism, referring to the importance of achieving stability in the Middle East so as to ensure a suitable environment for security, economic growth and social justice.
