Egypt's president Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi said Thursday the country is keen on achieving comprehensive peace in the Middle East, Al-Bawaba News reported. Egypt cannot abandon its Arabian periphery, Al-Sisi added, during a speech commemorating the Sinai Liberation Day. "Egypt will not stand while its hands are tied, and Egypt's and Arabs' national security are endangered," Al-Sisi added. Regarding terror, the Egyptian leader said countering terrorism cannot be confined to facing internal challenges and ignoring the external ones. Al-Sisi extremely hailed the Egyptian Armed forces for their historic role to protect Egypt's territories. "Our military has been the rock upon which the enemies' greed smashed," he said.
