Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi told the World Economic Forum in Jordan Friday "Investment in youth should be the subject of cooperation between governments and business sector," Youm7 reported. "We can sustain peace and stability needed for an economic growth only through cooperation and integration between the regional governments, private institutions and the rest of states ... We're all in this together," said the Egyptian president during his speech before the "Davos" forum. "The threats in the world have become cross-border, and no one has the luxury of failing cooperation efforts to eliminate them," Sisi added. "The spread of extremism or sectarianism come as a result of despair, frustration and decline of justice values," he said. "Therefore, we must mobilize all our efforts to strengthen values of freedom, equality and pluralism in order to eliminate the scourge of terrorism." Sisi has been battling violent extremism in the Sinai Peninsula and other parts of the country since the overthrow of president Mohammed Morsi in July 2013. But the Egyptian leader's presence at the Dead Sea forum was not all about politics. Sisi sought to encourage world business leaders to invest in Egypt. In the Dead Sea, the Egyptian president highlighted the importance of attracting investment and paving the way for foreign investors to work in a safe and stable environment for the broader economic growth of the region." "The Egyptian government began to implement a comprehensive program of development until 2030. It aims to attract foreign investors and encourage them to work in a safe and stable environment," he said.
