French government intends to list Muslim Brotherhood (MB) as a terrorist organization after the recent terrorist attacks in Egypt's Sinai, Al Bawaba News reported Thursday. At a parliament session, Prime Minister Manuel Valls voiced concern over the MB's increasing violence against judges and security personnel. The French government formed a committee to monitor mosques' activities and associations related to MB being as platforms for violence, murder and extremism. Valls had previously expressed his concern about the proliferation of social media messages especially from the Muslim Brotherhood in France. French Interior Minister is upon monitoring sources of financing terrorism, stressing that government will impede the activity of terrorists who promote or call for violence. Valls confirmed several measures to combat the presence of MB and militant groups would be taken including deportation, deprivation of French citizenship, preventing the entry or exit of France and the abolition of social assistance.
