Port Said criminal court adjourned Sunday the trial of 51 defendants to July 25 in the case publicly known as "Port Said prison case", Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants are accused of killing police personnel and inciting violence against civilians, as well as endangering the safety and unity of the society. In the trial, Port Said security director former Assistant, General Omar Mohammed Abdul Mageed testified that he lives near the prison that witnessed a fierce attack by a number of people using machine guns. The witness said that this attack was due to people's dissatisfaction with the police officers, denying his knowledge that the incident came as a response to Port Said Stadium massacre verdict. Abdul Mageed pointed out that he could not confirm that the perpetrators belong to a certain group, adding that they were young men of different ages, mostly boys and young people between 20 and 30 years old. The defendants' lawyer, Neyazy Mostafa told the witness that a number of victims were shot in the head, asking him if he think that anyone can do this. Abdul Mageed answered that the killings in that way need a professional killer.
