A U.S. teenager on Thursday admitted to providing support to the Islamic State (IS) jihadist group, according to Reuters. The 17-year old Ali Shukry Amin, Virginia, used his Twitter account to give instructions on how to use the virtual currency Bitcoin to fund the terrorist group, judicial sources said. The court documents also said Amin, a former high school student, recruited other Virginia residents to join the militias that captured large swathes of Iraq and Syria. Amin had online links to a number of IS high profile leaders and recruiters, police and intelligence sources said.
