Egypt's military forces killed Tuesday four militants in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid city, Al Bawaba News reported. Military source said the army raided the militants' strongholds in Sheikh Zuweid, killing four militants and arresting six others. Meanwhile, the source added that the army succeeded to defuse an improvised explosive device planted in Arish's ring road. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against Wilayat Sinai, formerly known as Ansar Bait Al Maqdis, after it claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
