Egyptian courts resume MB trials

The Court of Cassation will consider Wednesday the retrial of 183 defendants, including the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, over murder, assault and arson charges of Al Adwa police station in Minya in 2014.
The defendants were sentenced to death and life in prison, but Egypt's Attorney General had appealed the verdicts.
South Cairo Criminal Court will resume the trial of 47 defendants charged with storming Al Tebeen Police Station, attempting to kill police officers, joining a terrorist organization and arson.
