Cairo Criminal Court resumed Sunday the espionage trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 10 co-defendants, Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of leaking to a foreign country, namely Qatar, top secret military reports pertaining to Egypt's Intelligence Authority and Armed Forces and related to the country's national security. Port Said Criminal Court will consider the case known in the media as the "Port Said prison" in which 51 defendants face 42 murder charges, including the killing of two policemen, Ahmed Al Bulki and Ayman Al Afifi. The East Cairo prosecution will also consider keeping 17 MB-affiliated suspects under custody pending investigations on the violence committed in the 2013 Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins.
