An update of Egyptian voters' numbers have been sent to State Council, Transitional Justice Minister, Ibrahim Al Heneidi said, Al Bawaba News reported Thursday. The committee, tasked with making amendments of elections law, had sent earlier in May the latest population update issued from the Mobilization and Statics Authority to the State Council upon their demand, Al Heneidi stated. He added that the supreme legislative reform committee, led by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, will hold a meeting in June to discuss several drafts of the law, in line with the constitution and the house of representatives law. The next parliamentary elections will be the second of its kind, with two presidential elections, two constitutional referendums and one Shura Council elections having already taken place during the past three years.
