Giza Criminal Court will try Monday 18 defendants accused of illegal protesting and committing violence crimes in Giza's Talbiya district, Al Bawaba News reported. The prosecution has accused the defendants of joining the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization, protesting without permission, inciting violence, resisting the authorities, and destabilizing the public peace. Hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood members face trial over violence charges and illegal protest across Egypt since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
