Egyptian authorities have filed a lawsuit before the Interpol to arrest the MB religious leader,Youssef Al Qaradawy, fugitive in Qatar, over terror-related crimes, a judicial source told Al Bawaba News Saturday. Al Qaradawy was sentenced to death Saturday in the trial known in the Egyptian press as "Espionage and Natroun Jailbreak Cases" in which ousted president Mohamed Morsi and more than 100 codefendants were convicted. The MB rule was ousted July 2013 amid military-backed mass street protests.
