Ravina Shamdasani, Spokesperson of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR), said that 646 people were killed in Yemen from March 26 to May 3, Al Bawaba New reported. Shamdasani said that the infrastructure of Yemen suffered severe damage, adding that the organization has documented the destruction of a number of houses. She pointed out that over 1364 people were wounded in Yemen in the same period. Yemen witnessed increasing chaos since the uprising launched by Houthi insurgents against the Yemeni government, seizing large parts of the country.
