Egyptian courts across the nation look Tuesday into trials of members of the terrorist organization, Muslim Brotherhood (MB). Cairo Criminal Court resumes Tuesday the retrial of the journalists of Qatari owned channel Al-Jazeera, over accusations of airing false news jeopardizing Egyptian national security and working without permission, according to Al Bawaba News. On June 23, 2014, the court sentenced 6 of them to 7-10 years in prison, the other 11 to 10 years in prison, and the Egyptian journalist to Baher Mohamed to 10 years. In Zagazig Governorate, the court resumes the trial of 185 defendants of MB, including the nephew of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, for accusations of inciting violence and joining terrorist organization. Misdemeanor Court considers today the appeal of former governor of Sharqia, Hassan Al Naggar, against the 4-year verdict against him, over charges of protesting without permission and setting up roadblocks in Nasr City, Cairo.
