French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Monday its deep condemnation after the explosion occurred in north Somalia and killed two UNICEF officials, FM spokesperson Roman Nadal said. Al Shabab terrorist organization claimed responsibility for detonating a UN vehicle in the northeastern town of Garowe which left at least eight people killed. Among the casualties there was a number of African Union soldiers in addition to civilians. Nadal expressed his condolences to the victims' families and announced his solidarity with the Somalis as well as the UN officials and the African Union mission asserting his country's full support to Somalian government against terrorism.
