A low temperature warning has been issued Tuesday by Egyptian Meteorological Authority expecting that temperatures across the country will drop by 5 Celsius. The General Authority for Meteorology announced that Egypt will be exposed to 96 hours of bad weather starting Thursday. It also warned of ground frost on farmlands in the northern part of Upper Egypt and central Sinai. The bad weather is expected to be accompanied by heavy rains and thunderstorms in coastal cities and north Nile Delta that may disrupt maritime traffic and cause low visibility especially in the Mediterranean Sea. The authority explained that the weather will be cold during the day and colder at night with temperatures reaching lows on Friday and Saturday night.
