Cairo and the Nile Delta regions will see unstable weather accompanied by sandy winds over the next two days, which will reduce visibility for motorists, stated the Egyptian Meteorological Authority on Monday. According to the authority, some areas of Egypt's Mediterranean coastline will also be hit by these winds, causing waves of up to four metres high. The weather will improve after two days, with cooler winds predicted. Fishermen are recommended to stay in port as the wind speed is ranging between 24 and 27 knots in both the Red Sea and Mediterranean. Temperatures in Cairo on Monday reached 34 degrees Celsius during the afternoon, with night expected to bring temperatures of around 19 degrees. Over Egypt's coastal provinces and vital waterway, the Suez Canal, maximum temperatures range between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius, with night temperatures forecast to drop to a minimum of 15 degrees.
