Sufra Dayma: Grilled Veal Chops with Sweet-Sour Sauce By Moushira Abdel-Malek Serves 4-6 Ingredients: 8-10 veal chops (medium thickness) 4 tbsp onion juice 1⁄2 cup orange marmalade 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tsp Dijon mustard Salt + pepper 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil Method: Marinate chops in onion juice, salt and pepper, at least for three hours, or overnight, refrigerated. Grill on a top stove griddle or under an oven grill. In the meantime, combine in a medium glass bowl, combine marmalade, soy sauce, mustard and olive oil. Slightly season to taste. Serve grilled chops, sizzling hot and top with marmalade sauce. Serve with mashed potato and a green salad.
