Horoscopes: That come-hither look

Horoscopes:
That come-hither look
By Imhotep
Drama threatens to become crisis for people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) in July. The month is a turning point in your lives, Imhotep predicts. Librans have a gift for flirtation, but in July they better stop themselves from giving others flirtatious looks. Playfulness will cease to amuse you.
Sensible Librans must disentangle themselves from amorous affairs that lead to nowhere. Get serious.
Librans do not have to grin and bear the consequences of past mistakes. But they do understand that failure can sometimes be a salubrious, albeit humbling, experience.
When sorely disappointed, Librans can wax philosophical. In July, Librans will set out with all the right intentions. The month need not turn into an extremely frustrating period for Librans if they take their destiny into their own hands. The outlook in the office looks good. Librans should take a few more liberties and not let shyness and reserve undermine their resolve to move up from the bottom rung of the pay scale at the workplace.
Procrastination is one of the Librans' worst shortcomings. In July, Librans must avoid dawdling at all costs. Make up your minds, my dear Librans. Stop pussyfooting and get on with whatever plans you've got.
The Scales, as Librans are sometimes called, must learn how to cop the constructive criticism of friends and family, because they sometimes deserve what they get.
Be that as it may, dear Scales, remember that an income generating venture is in the offing.
People born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct-23 Nov) are destined for soul- searching times in July. Scorpions are not used to coming second-best. They strive for perfection. But, they must watch out against overwork and never taking time off. The price paid for not taking a break could be incalculable.
Scorpions are go-getters. They often find themselves disregarding anything that could short-circuit the realisation of their dreams.
And dare I remind the reader again, the poisonous sting of the Scorpion's tail is only used for self-defense. Do not cross an angry Scorpion, especially one who feels betrayed.
Imhotep understands that Scorpions are feeling rather sorry for themselves at the moment. Don't moan, it doesn't help solve your problems. People want to see the helpful, happy side of your nature.
So, dear Scorpion, you took a gamble and lost. Yes, perhaps Scorpions were down on their luck. For all that it is hard to escape the conclusion that risk and reward were out of step in the past few weeks.
But, cheer up Scorpions. Luck will most certainly be on your side towards the end of July.
People born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov-23 Dec) take their luck for granted and often push it to the limit. Archers, as Sagittarians are sometimes called, often float effortlessly through life. In July, however, Archers will come up against a challenge or two. But, they never have been ones to shirk life's challenges. Archers rarely shy away from a contest.
Indeed, a few Archers are also prone to fight pointless battles. Sagittarians can be inexorably blunt, an annoying character trait that does not always endear Archers to others. Sagittarian bluntness, though, is typically tempered by a scrupulous commitment to fair play.
Imhotep understands that Sagittarians are not ones to be discourteously ignored. Harsh words from a close friend or your boss at work might have left you wounded, but you have a chance to show your character and put things right. So curb your pride, dear Archers. You never know what you're liable to run up against if you give your boss a piece of your mind.
And, please, whatever you do don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Capricon,
Aquarius and Pisces
