Horoscopes:
Opening the mind
By Imhotep
Sometimes silence reveals more than even the cosiest chats, my dear Scales, as people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) are sometimes called. And, pensive Scales instinctively understand the power of communicating in silence. Mental telepathy is something that comes easily to Librans.
Introspective and contemplative, Scales will have plenty of opportunities in July to reflect on their lives.
Ruled by Venus, the Planet of Love, you are famous for an innate ability to create romance -- to cast magic spells, my dear Librans.
Typical Scales are secretive and very private creatures. Some Librans would not divulge an intimate secret to their closest friends. Cautious Scales will have a chance to hedge their bets on an all important decision this July.
Your keen business sense has never been sharper. Closing a deal is a fine art.
Others, however, confide in Librans. Scales know how to keep a secret and friends and family, in particular, appreciate this Libran character trait. Keep family and friends out of your business. Tell them to mind their own business. The deal will be struck with a perfect stranger.
Staying flexible is the key.
You will achieve a fine balance between pathos and hilarity in the weeks ahead, my dear Eagles, as people born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct-23 Nov) are sometimes called. Towards the end of July, Eagles will triumph over adversity, turning loss by sheer force of will into success.
Half-formed thoughts race through the minds of Eagles at the moment. Eagles don't appreciate being pushed around. But interaction with authority figures or older people might not run smoothly in July. A clash with your immediate boss at the workplace can be averted by appealing to the loftier nature innate in everyone.
There is, however, a ruthless streak in every Eagle. Just watch those mighty birds, the Lords of the Skies, swooping down from the heavens to grab their prey. All the rage that has been bottled up in the hearts of Eagles for so long will flood out in a torrent of harsh words of anger and recrimination. Enemies will tremble at the sight of you, my dear Eagles.
Vindicated, the stout-hearted Eagles will be ready to forget and forgive. Once they've spoken their minds, Eagles will bask in the limelight of their newfound success. July is a very lucky moon for Eagles.
These mighty creatures are programmed to survive. The year began on a promising note for most of these hardy people. And Imhotep predicts promotions and other pleasant surprises in the weeks to come.
Archers, as people born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov- 23 Dec) are sometimes called, will be called upon to prove their mettle. Most Archers will succeed in showing that they are worth their salt, though. At the workplace your authority will be challenged and your patience will be tested to the limit my dear Archers. Fear not, thank your lucky stars. Your mission now is to figure out how to cover your tracks and keep smiling.
That higher-up person who's been grilling you lately is on your mind. Relax. Go easy on them. They're already returning the favour. They may even be overlooking certain shortcomings to bump you up a step or two. So be nice. Just in case.
Still mad about last month? It might be time to let go, if for no other reason than to relieve yourself of this unnecessary burden. You don't need this, and you know it. Wiggle out of it. Don't worry, be happy.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Capricon, Aquarius and Pisces
