Horoscopes:
Fools and horses
By Imhotep
If wishes were horses, my dear Scales, as people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) are sometimes called, you'd be running sprawling ranches. There is nothing wrong with hopes and dreams, but at the moment try to keep them within reach of reality to avoid unnecessary disappointments.
If you are looking for a little genuine appreciation, the Stars say now is the time you can find it. Try making an overture or two, whether online or off -- maybe on the phone or face to face -- and let them experience your genuine charm.
Make sure, however, that you weigh all your options before you decide on one course of action, my dear Scales. This is especially apt if someone in your life is insisting that you don't choose now then all will be lost. That is just not true.
Scales are a veritable magnet for the attention of interesting, attractive others. And, that's not all. You can't turn it off -- but then, why would you want to?
You're feeling so good that every word you utter makes everyone around you feel as if they've walked out of a love story. Be careful with your charm, now.
Just when you thought you were free, here it comes: yet another person with a deep, dark secret they absolutely can't confide in anyone else. Stop sighing. It's your job and you know it.
Your helpfulness is much appreciated now, whether you are offering to baby-sit for a couple of harried friends or finessing institutions of the perfect two people. This kind of stuff comes back round, you know.
A friend seeks help with a relationship issue -- probably your friend doesn't want criticism either of how they got into this mess or of the other party involved. Engage your bountiful kindness and compassion.
Why wake up from that amazing daydream, my dear Eagles, as people born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct-23 Nov) are sometimes called. You may be in a bit of a haze, but make it a pleasant one and enjoy the good energy the Stars are sending your way. There is plenty of time to more fully tune in to reality later in the year.
By mid-September, there will be plenty of opportunity to express your innermost thoughts and feelings. If there is something on your mind, go right ahead and get it out there. Now.
Indeed in the weeks ahead, it is vitally important to remember that the Eagle, and not the Scorpion, is seen as the mascot of this most versatile and daring Sun sign. Eagles can spot their prey from a distance.
Similarly, Eagles instinctively search for the right outlook to life. The month of September comes loaded with fresh challenges for Eagles in the arena of romance and affairs of the heart. In the workplace, too, Eagles will be called upon to prove their mettle.
Most Eagles will succeed in showing that they are worth their salt, though.
If all the world is a stage, my dear Archers, as people born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov-23 Dec) are sometimes called, you are definitely a star at the moment. And, Goodness, you do look great in that spotlight. Love is also on the programme, so plan your costumes and performances accordingly.
An astrological celebration -- one that is especially in your honour my dear fiery Sagittarians.
Centaurs, as Archers are sometimes called, are a vivacious lot. You, my dear Archers, are not the type to ever even try to keep your feelings hidden -- but at the moment you don't have much of a choice. This is where the expression "wearing your heart on your sleeve" came from, my dear Archers.
In the weeks ahead, you'll get together with a group of friends and have a lot of fun. Expect at least one of them to do quite a few surprising things -- like maybe revealing some far deeper feelings than just friendship. Ready? Better be.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces
