Horoscopes:
Hotting up
By Imhotep
At the moment, the urge to have a tantrum is well-nigh irresistible, my dear Scales, as people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) are sometimes called. But fight it. You are not a child so stay in control. If you manage to remain calm and focussed, you'll stand a much better chance at getting what you want. Combine your powers of creativity, always fabulous, with your romantic nature -- extra hot right now -- and see what kind of wonderful cake you can bake. Mix well all talents, stick them in the oven of your emotions and savour the sweet aromas. What, Imhotep wonders, will your secret ingredient be?
Soul-searching is necessary when you think of ways to refuel your sense of purpose. This intense introspection may feel uncomfortable at first, but go with it. The results will be more than worth it.
Things and people are not precisely what they seem to be at the moment but this isn't necessarily a negative phenomenon. There are more possibilities than you know and hidden qualities and aspects galore.
You have an amazing sense of diplomacy, my dear Eagles, as people born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct- 23 Nov) are sometimes called. You also have a great capacity for delicacy and sensitivity at the moment which comes in handy when you are trying to talk with touchy types. If anyone can manage to communicate with these difficult creatures, it's you.
You'd been into a relationship looking for deep romance and you ended up with a new group of friends. While you may be taken aback at this turn of events, you can't say that you are displeased. After all, you can never have too many friends.
But for Heaven's sake, leave that troubled friendship alone. Rather than constantly tinkering with it, let matters work themselves out. Indeed, someone may be insisting on a concrete social roadmap for the month, but your always excellent sense of propriety and keen instincts say there may be more random fun to be had. Be ready to convince them to take a detour.
That impossible dream might just become a reality as the stars align in your cosmic favour my dear Archers, as people born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov-23 Dec) are sometimes called. Have patience with a difficult situation. Like a diamond, rough circumstances are just polishing up the facets on this gem. Archers are in fighting form these days. All kinds of lovely transformations, however, are possible now for fiery Sagittarians.
So much is happening, my dear Archers, that your head -- and your heart, too -- may be swimming a little. Cut yourself some slack and give yourself some time to think things over carefully. Mull it all over. A little daydreaming might give you a surprising perspective.
Put those promising plans in motion as soon as possible, even if nothing materialises right away. Your good intentions will start lining up all the elements you need. Travel and romantic goals are especially favoured throughout August.
You can start, my dear Archers, by morphing directly into the most fabulous version of yourself -- then help a relationship or a potential one change miraculously. Fact is indeed stranger than fiction -- especially when it comes to the mysteries of love.
Right now it may be hard even to disentangle the two. Think of it as a romantic puzzle for you to solve. In any case, things aren't especially tidy at the moment and love in particular may be in a bit of a mess. Well, life sometimes seems messy, and at least a mess is interesting. Do you really want to clean it up?
